From @jonparkerphoto – Bhutan; a dancer performs during the Paro Tshechu festival. Certainly the most unique religious festival I have attended. Tshechu are annual religious Bhutanese festivals held in each district or dzongkhagof Bhutan on the tenth day of a month of thelunar Tibetan calendar. The month depends on the place. Tshechus are religious festivalsof the Drukpa Lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism. Tshechus are large social gatherings, which perform the function of social bonding among people of remote and spread-out villages. Large markets also congregate at the fair locations, leading to brisk commerce. The Thimphu tshechu and thaParo tshechu are among the biggest of the tshechus in terms of participation and audience. #bhutan #bhutanese #paro #tshechu #buddhism #buddhist #travel #traveling #1000Likes #vacation #visiting #instatravel #instago #instagood #trip #holiday #photooftheday #fun #travelling #tourism #tourist #instapassport #instatraveling #mytravelgram #travelgram #travelingram #igtravel

——————————- A 8000 meters there are three times less oxygen than at sea level. Which means that all the will to continue breathing is needed. The whole body is concentrated in this single goal: the next inspiration. And only after a few minutes when breathing has regularized, one begins to live again. #nepal #everest #travel #traveling #mteverest #vacation #visiting #instatravel #instago #instagood #trip #holiday #photooftheday #fun #travelling #tourism #tourist #instapassport #instatraveling #mytravelgram #travelgram #travelingram #igtravel
